About Me

Dog Rescue Newcastle is a wholly volunteer, not-for-profit, charity. Our mission is to rescue abandoned pets from pounds and put them into foster homes until we can find permanent homes for them.

All animals which we rehome are wormed, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed and lifetime registered. All money which we are able to raise is used entirely to pay for the costs involved in the rescue, rehabilitation, veterinary expenses, and many other costs of feeding and caring for rescued pets. Donations are tax deductible. We always need volunteers, dog and cat foster carers, and donations of money and also goods such as dog coats, blankets, and pet food, etc.

For more information about our organisation and to see our dogs, puppies, cats and kittens available foradoption, please visit our website www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

About Me

I'm married to Ashley and have two children, Annie and Eli. I have lived in Africa all my life, having been born in Zimbabwe. I love cross stitch, knitting, quilling and quilting. I also enjoy being able to help others less fortunate than me.  I have the wonderful privledge of hand-rearing wild animals in my home too.
